I did find that this cube was pretty much ready to use out of the box. I was quite impressed with how good this 2x2 is, the shades used was perfect, the plastic feels like a high quality plastic (not thin or paper-ish like the Mellong or Yuxin little magic). Lubing it a bit with my own lubricants was the only thing I did and it was great.
This 2x2 is factory magnetised so you don’t need to magnetise it (this is great since it only costs $10 already magnetised). The only thing I may take would be a downside is that the magnets is fairly weak and for beginners may notice that it’s a bit flexible. But in my opinion the magnets are just right, you can’t feel the magnets while solving yet it helps keeping the cubes shape. The springs tensions are flexible but hold the cube well, it makes the corner cutting abit snappy and I don’t really like that but that’s just me, maybe you like the snappy-ness.
If you watch my solves it’s pretty bad so frankly I’m not a good example as a speedcuber for a 2x2 (my solve ain’t record breaking or anything) but hope it demonstrates what the cube is like.
Anyway thanks for reading my review and HAPPY CUBING!! ٩(˃̶͈̀௰˂̶͈́)و
