The Shengshou 7x7 is great value cube and is recommended for advanced cubers that like a challenge.  This is the mini version and at just 68mm feels very comfortable.  The cube comes pre-lubricated from the manufacturer and has a smooth feel out of the box. This cube is widely considered the best cube amongst the top 7x7 solvers.

A good basic cube

I am not a professional speed cuber, but from an amateurs perspective this cube is very decent and moves smoothly. I am not super fast, so can't comment on going fast with it.

This one I bought for work, and heavily used during boring meetings (not that I would do that)

For a mini it's not bad

A little clunky in places but generally ok. A bit scared I might break it if I'm too forceful. Best time 22:30 (Well off the world record)

Bang for your buck is off the charts!!

I ordered the Shengshou 7x7x7 mini as part of my third order from SpeedCube.com.au.

As was the case with my first two orders, the experience was amazing. Very easy, very fast, not a single issue, and overnight delivery once again (I’m in South Australia).

As for the 7x7x7 itself, this is one of the coolest puzzles I’ve ever purchased. Being the mini version, I was expecting it to be kinda flimsy and hard to turn, but that’s not the case at all.

The cube is 68mm long… which, if you’re having trouble picturing, is about half a cubie wider than your typical 3x3x3 cube. So it’s very easy to hold (unless you have gigantic hands).

The turning is very smooth, and there’s a little bit of ‘give’ in the layers… And by that, I mean you don’t have to have every layer lined up perfectly before making your next move. Everything falls into place pretty reliably, as long as you’re not going crazy on it.

I’ve only come close to popping pieces 1-2 times, but never actually happened, unlike my old V-Cube 7x7x7.

For the price alone, this is a MUST HAVE puzzle. You will not be disappointed, and you’ll feel very accomplished once you manage to get your solve times down under 30 minutes.

I plan on buying more of these to give to friends and family, just to see the horrified looks on their faces when they realise that 7x7x7 cubes really do exist haha.

I give this cube a 4.5/5 for performance.

I give SpeedCube.com.au a 5/5 for service.

Great cube, pops a little

the cube is great, buttery smooth and very pleasant, but it can lock up and pop under speedy turns, overall 4/5

Decent

This cube is great but a little bit stuff, I'm sure with breaking in and properly lubing it it'll be much better.
