SPEEDCUBE PTY LTD

All Speedcubes can pop. It’s not broken, but rather has come apart and must now be re-assembled. Simply YouTube ‘how to assemble a 3x3 Speed Cube or <insert your cubes name>‘. Popping occurs because of loose tensions or inaccurate turning. Tighter tensions are recommended for beginners or new cubes. Google ‘how to tension a Speed Cube’.

Not amazing

Really light, poor corner cutting and average performance, kind of a novelty

Good

Positives:

It fits in my pocket

It turns really well for it’s size

The teacher doesn’t notice when I use it in class

Clicking noise is satisfying

Negatives:

Corner cutting isn’t as good as the cubes I’m used to so it sometimes locks up

Not a speedcube!!

To me, this feels like a tiny, gimmicky cube that does not fit in with the other speedcubes on the market. I haven't been game to open it up, as I don't want to break it, but I don't imagine that the pieces are as well constructed as any of the other name brands. I bought it for my 6 year old son (as he has small hands), and he appears to like it, but compared to my other cubes (my main is a GTS2M), the pieces appear to be too light (and therefore difficult to control), finger tricks are difficult, and don't even think about corner cutting.
