The GAN 249 V2 2x2 is a new revolutionary 2x2 speed cube from GAN and features the innovative GAN Iron Plastic GAN Core (IPG - similar to GAN 3x3) and the patented GAN Elasticity System V2 (GES V2) that many cubers have come to trust in the GAN 3x3 series.
The 249 V2 cube sports changes to the tiles which is said to reduce lockups and comes with a brand new bright color scheme for the stickerless tough tiles. The IPG and GES technology combine to provide a smooth and exceptionally stable cube, and we also now see the honeycomb surface shared from the GAN SM.

I have actually ordered the non magnetic version by mistake. When I dropped into the shop they offered me to swap it. It was so nice of them.and had a wonderful experience in store.

This cube is very smooth and lightweight. This cube is one of the cheapest Gan cubes and it is well worth the price. I have put some lube on it but it made it unstable. This lube was to speed it up but really it needs heavy lube to slow it down. Also it is a tiny bit on the small side, so people with smaller hands (not me!) should get this cube. Overall this cube is very good.
