The X-Man Design Galaxy Megaminx is the preferred megaminx amongst competitive speedsolvers.
The design of each piece of the V2 has been refined to achieve excellent corner cutting. The sculpted version of the V2 has deeper indents to improve grip. The V2 also uses conical sprigs and wider feet to improve stability.

If you looking for a megaminx I think you should get this one. If you have more to spend, definitely get the magnetic one.
It extremely SMOOTH & FAST. Did not regret getting it.

I really love how this megaminx feels the same throughout every solve, and I like how there is an optional choice of swapping a colour for black, which makes it easy to (in my case) solve OLL. Although I am definitely not a world record cuber, I find that with a specific colour scheme it is simple to find my next F2L and S2L pair.
I really recommend this megaminx!
