Not a fan of the size but great for OH

Really nice to use. Great size and very comfortable - prefer this size to our 56mm cubes :)

QIYI made a MINI CUBE?! That’s a mini Valk3!

WOW!

The QIYI Valk 3 mini cube is a tribute to the world record set by Mats Valk of 4.74 seconds. The cube is entirely the same as the Valk 3 only difference is that it’s size is 47.4mm, one cubie is almost the same size as a cubie of a 60mm 4x4. The performance is outstanding of a mini cube although it does take a lot of patience to get used to it since it’s size is smaller than a regular OH cube (it took me less than 5 min to get used to so the size is not much of a problem for me), the size can be comparable to a keychain cube but performs as a midtier cube.

The QIYI mini cube although being small it doesn’t mean you can’t get good times with it. If you get used to the size you can perform just a bit slower than your PB by about a fraction of a second to 5 seconds. For OH it may be a bit too small for most people, but I find that it’s alright for me and is very usable as an OH cube however I’m still new to OH so don’t take my word for it.

Overall the Valk mini is a great cube, but for $20 it may be a bit pricey. I don’t regret buying this cube though I love it and will continue to bring it with me everywhere, it’s great to use when in class (just don’t let your lecturer/teacher find out).

Small size + small hands ... a great fit for primary school age students.
