5X5 Edge Parity Solution | Algorithm

Edge Parity on a 5x5 occurs when you pair the last edges and one edge doesn't match.  This is because the two "wings" need to be swapped.

Perform this algorithm with the flipped edge piece in the front top position.

 Rw U2 x Rw U2 Rw U2 Rw' U2 Lw U2 3Rw' U2 Rw U2 Rw' U2 Rw'

5x5 Edge Parity

The solution above can be used for 4x4 up to 7x7.  The video below explains.

Hey this is doing my head in atm. I think the arrows in the pictures (extrem my helpful btw) don’t match the algorithm. I think it’s that the 3Rw’ & Rw’ are switched in place of each other in the pictures vs. the Alg.

There is an error in the figures. The 3Rw should be the 12th move but the figure shows it as the 8th

This is so easy to learn because of the multi use for most cubes and because there is a U2 every 2nd step

I always had to spend over 3 minutes finding a video for the parity alg so this helps a bunch!
