How to use this tool

IMPORTANT: A 2x2 cube has no fixed center pieces, so there's no built-in reference for which color belongs on which side. This tool fixes that by anchoring one corner piece: the White / Orange / Blue corner is always treated as sitting at the back-top-left (touching the Up, Left and Back faces) — it's shown greyed out below and can't be edited. Orient your physical cube so that corner is at the back-top-left, keep that orientation fixed the whole time, then read off the other 7 corners the same way as the 3x3 tool: view each face straight-on and enter its 4 stickers. Colors: White=Up, Green=Front, Red=Right, Orange=Left, Blue=Back, Yellow=Down.

Enter the colors of every visible sticker on your scrambled 2x2 below. Then click Check & Solve. The tool will tell you whether the pattern you entered is actually possible on a real cube, and if so, it will calculate a solution and animate it for you.
