The Meilong 4x4 is deemed one of the best budget 4x4 on the market which is considered main worthy by some when magnetised. I personally cant say its the best or that its main worthy. However with the right set up and magnet strength you can make this 4x4 function as a mid tier 4x4 its corner cutting is average and can lock up when its past the corner cutting zone, yet again every big cube locks up at some point. I have been playing with this cube for about 2-3 weeks doing hundreds of solves and havent experienced a pop as of yet, ive also magnetised it just recently and it has improved the performance ( I would reccomend to have the middle layers a bit weaker than the outer layers, but it depends to your preference). At first when unboxing the cube it was dry and needed to be lubed and tensioned, but you can still use at when its dry its just a weird feeling when its dry.
This cube is well worth it if you cant afford a higher priced cube, for $8 its very good and the matte finish doesnt really bother me and hasn't slipped out of my hand or anything.
